For what I have been able to see, Quebecois and Canadians in general, are not ppl who like to fight. They try to go with the flow, maybe that is the result of so much fighting in the early days…

And taking another article as reference, in which Quebecois were accused of not requesting ppl to serve them in French (almost portraiting them as submissive or weak), it looks like the media didn’t have enough of what they did to all of us with the whole “Accomodements raisonables” issue, opening old scars in Quebecois and Immigrants. That now the media has to put more logs into the fire and “remind” the Quebecois that THEY are the one’s to blame if French disappears from Northamerica.

Like if it was to happen. If it didn’t happen in 400 years, its not gonna happen today or tomorrow. Doesn’t media have better things to do? Than to put ppl against each other?

Maybe start thinking they play an important role in society and that they should be responsible and wise?

Personally I don’t pay attention to skin color, but a lot of black people would tell you differently. I know I see racism around me all the time and I’m whiter than a cracker. Would you dismiss THEIR heritage so glibly?

In communication and understanding there’s an underlying layer of RESPECT that bind the two together. What’s wrong with respecting the French in their corner of the country?

And then there’s the business sense. It only makes good business sense to accommodate your customers in the best possible way to ensure, what’s that word I’m looking for, it’s the most important type of customer a business can have… oh yeah, repeat customer. A customer who keeps coming back. Statistically a happy customer brings you 4 more, an unhappy one will deprive you of up to 10.
