Ditto with Mare and Fagstein. As we wrote, this is unique only in that it is being offered by Bell Mobility for the first time on one of their SmartPhones – in this case the HTC Touch Windows Mobile 6 device.. PHAT, if not quite the iPhone.

It still cannot be used as a tethered mobile data modem (for your laptop, as an example).. but strictly for (asterix) unlimited mobile web browsing and email on that HTC Touch… still , as Justin said – the prices are FINALLY thawing here in Canada.

Rogers came out with a new feature whereby if you own, or purchase a Blackberry Pearl, you can get unlimited email (only) for $15 a month.

I think prices are starting to thaw.

It looks legit, actually.

Though Bell’s terms of service still prohibits “multi-media streaming, voice-over-Internet or anything else that uses excessive network capacity”.

Too bad the iPhone won’t work on Bell’s CDMA network. Evar.

And there is probably some catch in the small print like “unlimited data until you reach 1 GB, 1$ per MB after that”.

Currently Bell’s biggest Blackberry plan costs $100 per month. That’s for one whopping GigaByte…
