Le temple de la pomme

When it comes to Apple-related news you really have to be quick on the keyboard. Once I got home from work I only had 15 minutes to eat before running off to a dentist appointment. During that short time, with a sandwich in one hand and my laptop in the other, I check out Apple Insider and wowza! Downtown is getting a new Apple Store, a Flagship Apple Store mind you. These high-profile stores have had a major impact on projecting the Apple brand and, after being essentially ignored for so many years, we’re finally deemed cool enough to warrant a good one.

Of course, once I get back home a couple hours later, I notice on my RSS feed that everybody is already talking about it. Bah!

Being a nerd, I was actually trying to figure out where Apple would put a flagship store if they ever built one in Montreal the day before this story broke. I’ve been informed of where exactly the store will be-1321 Ste-Catherine Ouest. I did a short write up (with pictures) on the store on SpacingMontreal (www.spacingmontreal.ca)
