Did you catch the sky’s performance yesterday evening? A thunderstorm developed over the city and just sat there for a couple of hours as the sun set. It was wild to see the pink hued rain pouring down. Toward the end of the light, some amazing mammatus clouds developed. These clouds indicate the presence of violent up and down drafts and are more typical of the tornado plagued regions of the US. It’s pretty rare to see such good ones up here.
Once it got dark, we sat out on the patio watching the lightning show as it grew more and more distant. Today, we can FEEL the result – cooler, drier and crystal clear. It’s going to be an idyllic weekend out there, so get out and enjoy!
