Le meilleur chien chaud en ville

Chien chaud is literally French for hot dogs, except nobody says chien chaud. On an uneventful day, you can say “Je veux un chien chaud” and it might bring a few smiles and laughs.

This is on Cote du Beaver Hall close to the north exit of metro station Square-Victoria.

Victoire has AWESOME hot-dogs and well worth the long walk, but a close second only to Chez Ma Tante on Fleury. Best Hot-Dogs and Fries on the island if not anywhere…. EVER!

I think alas Pool Room lost a little bit of its appeal, it used to have the best “normal” hot dogs in town. The special crown used to be (in my books) awarded to the Lux. I still haven’t found good places that could replicate these. So for now, my best hot dogs are the ones I create myself on my barbecue. I only hope to stand corrected someday.
