I can't believe that municipalities like Brossard and Laval didn't offer the Montreal municipal government more money to offset the costs incurred in moving their citizens around the island of Montreal without their tax dollars! I can't believe that you moved outside of the Montreal tax payer region and still expect to get all the perks of being a Montrealer, without having to pay the taxes! I can't believe that I am going to hear people from the West Island, Laval and the south shore complain the most- when the reason they all moved there- the reason there is sub-urban sprawl, is because people didn't want to pay their fair share of the tax burden of running this city. I was expecting the worst, and it turned out to be better than usual. Though tomorrow, all of those people who stayed home, may decide to take to the roads.
