Maybe somebody is trying to tell me something
Tomorrow morning, my 16 yrs old daughter is scheduled to take the theoretical exam for her driver’s license. The funny thing is that this is the second time that we will try to make it to the SAAQ. Her first appointment was on March 2nd…but I had to cancel it since we were in the middle of our worst snow storm of the year.
I wonder if they’ll even plow the roads this time.
[update] Yep, she’s cursed. After we got there and waited through the first line-up, we were informed that they never received her reservation.
The SAAQ was the worst experience with Québec institutions I had when I moved to Québec three years ago. In total I waited 9 hours (!) in three sessions to get my driver’s license exchanged.
So maybe your daughter isn’t cursed but they are.
The best so far was the Regie du Logement, even though I was there as an evil landlord who wants to raise the rent.
BTW can you drive here when you’re 16? That explains a lot.
