A brave new step for marketing?

Check out Cyberpresse and tell me if this isn’t the ugliest ad placement ever. I this a new era for CSS ads?

[update] And just like that it’s gone. For a while, the side blue borders were replaced with a huge ad from the veal meat industry. It was garish.

It’s just all poorly designed and laid out in general.

The veal is bad! Especially on a widescreen. The colors should be blended with design somehow to create “good” emphasis on the product. Not blended it bring Bad emphasis.

BTW, why do I have a flashback from Passe-partout’s “J’ai des bons légumes” upon seeing the side images?

I went there very early this morning and it didn’t show anything. maybe it only showed up on Windows, or it just sensed I don’t eat meat.

No I use a Mac so that’s not it. Sometimes it’s there, sometime it’s not.
