I think I've become somewhat agoraphobic with the years and I absolutely hate being in an overcrowded bus or metro car. Fortunately for me, my bus is rarely that badly overcrowded (or at least I manage to get seated so it's not as bad) but the metro at rush hour is pretty bad.

And yeah, about packsacks: last week (on the day of the snowstorm), when the kids started their spring break one day early, there was a bunch of teens from the local high school who didn't bother checking the news before heading out to see if they had school or not. Well, you should have seen how crowded and noisy the bus got... thank god it's only a few minutes' ride till Cadillac station.

Look Dave, I can see you're really upset about this. I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill and think things over.

I completly agree.

But then, if you numbnuts taking the metro would f'ing look were you put yer gooddamn feet I wouldnt mind leaving my bag on the floor for you to kick in 2000$ worth of camera equipment. Civilised? thanks but no thanks. You will endure my sidebag, or will endure me... pick you're damage.

Most ppl walk around the street or subway corridors looking at the ground to force others to move out of the way because this gives them the "I didnt see you" excuse.... spare me the BS. No one cannot not see me, I blot out the f'ing sun. Civilised? HA!

I'm so f'ing tired of ppl in Montreal acting like they own the whole space ignoring everyone around, that I no longer care. Go ahead run into me. I guarantee, the next thing you'll hit is the floor, I'm to big to be bumped. If you leave a bag on the floor, people will step on it. Hold on to bag? People running in to get that last final seat will freaking ram it out of your hands.... cus they have to have that seat, their lives depend on it.

Bunch of monkeys...

I'm done ranting now.... freaking mass transit pisses me off sometimes.

I just hate bags. I won't be bugging you with bags.

After a bus of a subway stops abruptly, it's fun to see that people with bags fly away way better than those without.

I generally take my back pack off as well, but my big beef is with the fact that the bus is actually allowed to get that crowded. At certain times of the day, on certain routes, they need more buses. When a bus gets crowded to the point where backpacks become an issue the bus really shouldn't be picking up any more people.
