Il fait vraiment beau et chaud aujourd’hui. Perfect springtime weather…if it wasn’t January! I was watching the weather report last night on TVA and apparemment, la prévision pour cette Samedi sera 16 degrés! Ç’a pas d’bon sens! I have to confess that I have not even turned on my central heating yet. I’ve only been using my portable oil-filled electric heaters and they’ve been doing a fantastic job at keeping my rooms toasty warm. That means big savings for me since my Gaz Met bills would normally run very high in a typical Montreal winter. On the other hand, what does this say about the kind of shape our environment is in? I try my best - I don’t drive a car, I reduce, reuse, and recycle, but I’m afraid que ça ne sera pas assez. I think my next step will be to get an in-home composter like the one Tanya wrote about. Meanwhile, no sense in wasting nice weather so I hope everyone has a chance to get outside today and enjoy a walk in the sunshine.
