Today — like every other musical fan on the planet — I was planning to go see Dreamgirls. Touted as “the gay man’s Lord of the Rings,” it’s a movie many of us have been waiting a year (okay, years) to see on the big screen.

But there’s all this lovely snow today… And the Old Port is so pretty… Today, it seems, Montreal defeats Hollywood.
