Still things to do around town today

If you’re like us and completed all the family engagements yesterday, you might find that there’s not much going on around town even though the temperature outside is glorious.
[1]We decided to head down to the old port where the skating rink is open and playing lots of fun holiday music. They are open until six today. Sure some restaurants are open (usually the nicer, pricier ones) and the movie theater too, but for outdoor fun, the skating rink really hits the spot. Need something from the market? If yours is closed like ours, you’ll be glad to know that Chinatown is open. And I mean everything. We took a stroll through there after skating and were astonished to find throngs of people milling about, there were even people getting their hair done at the salon! All the little markets are open too, so if you forgot to get fresh vegetables, you’ve still got time. It’s a great day to get outside, looks like tomorrow is going to be WHITE. Happy holidays everyone.
