Rocking out from 9-5
I start and end my day enjoying some of the best musical performances in Montreal. What venue you ask? The Sherbrooke metro station. Usually my mornings feature a throaty, gravelly voiced gent who sings the Doors and once belted out a version of Radiohead’s “Karma Police” that made me weep. This morning, I got to hear an acoustic Police song that put Sting to shame. Finally, there is a sitar player some evenings who blows my mind.
So who are your favorite metro performers and where are they located?

i like the latino band that plays at Jean-Talon. It’s instrumental music. That’s it, I don’t like any other music players in the metro.
The scruffy shoegazer / ambient rock guitarist with the micro-sized amp at Lucien-L’Allier
There used to be a Peruvian band at Berri metro and they were fantastic. More than once I purposely missed the metro just because I wanted to hear them play some more.
