The best pizza ever!

Recently I had one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The restaurant, Bundy’s, is located on the North Shore (details right here) but you might be able to get them to deliver if you’re in the Cartierville or even St Laurent area; several Laval restaurants will do that.

The flyer showed up in the mail two weeks ago, and I was immediately intrigued by the “Tex Mex Pizza”. I finally got to order it, and I have to tell you, I was mocked by my husband and friends because I couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. Instead of pizza sauce, they use salsa. Then they top it with mushrooms, onions, peppers, grilled chicken, black olives, and mozarella cheese. As a final touch, they dump a heaping mound of sour cream right in the middle of it. I must confess – I am a total sucker for anything that comes with sour cream.

It was delicious. The only other pizza that ever made my eyes roll back in my head like that was an escargot pizza that I had downtown years ago. I can’t even remember the name of the restaurant, only that it was located next door to the Hard Rock Cafe on Crescent.

What’s your favorite kind of pizza? Where does it come from? Hungry minds want to know!

Let me just wipe my drool off the keyboard first… That sounds sooo tasty. I don’t think I’ve ever had pizza so good that my eyes rolled back in my head (lol). I like broccoli on my pizza though and I can’t seem to find too many places that make it that way. I can say that Pizza Hut does NOT make good pizza. Every single pizza that I’ve had from them has been disappointing for a place specializing in pizza.

    Sounds Good.

In the Milton quarter in Montreal, there’s this little restaurant called Amelios. It serves a white 5 cheese pizza. Instant artery blocker but damn is it ever delicious.

My favorite “fast” pizza is in the Berri Uqam metro. I don’t know what they put in that crust but it’s fantastic.

My family’s favorite pizza place is Elio’s Pizza….all dressed pizza anyone? We’ve been going there for years. I do go out-of-my way to make that the 35-minute drive, because it’s worth every bite! The restaurant is located at Bellechasse and St-Denis. I feel like a piece right now!

Hah, that’s my favorite pizza at amelio’s too! There’s a good wood-fired pizza place on St Laurent north of Laurier called Cucina that I like alot…we had pizza there this evening! But I’m a real sucker for cheap late night pizza like Belladonna on Mont-Royal.

Definatly, Elio’s Pizza is the best I’ve had. I have loved pizza since I was a kid. I go there from the west island about twice a month. I get a medium, half to eat and half to take home for lunch the next day.

Slurp, slurp, I’m getting a craving now.
