So hip that we couldn’t come up with a blogger to cover hockey season. Most of us don’t follow the game, and the two who do are intimidated by how rough fans can be to commentators who don’t share their views. (The possibility of broken windows was mentioned).

So I’m taking it upon myself to provide a multi-purpose hockey column. After a game, pick either column A or column B — whichever suffices.

1. Tonight Montreal’s beloved Habs
A) showed why their the best team in hockey, with a resounding victory
B) were robbed of a rightful win by bad officiating

A fight broke out, and
A) the visiting team should have spent even longer in the penalty box. What a cheap shot!
B) anyone can clearly see from the replay that the Habs didn’t deserve that penalty…

The Stanley Cup is
A) Ours! Ours! Ours!
B) not necessarily awarded to the best team. And anyway, there’s always next year.
