My nerves, like many overpasses, are shot
Have you been looking at all the overpasses? I sure have. In particular, on the 168 bus to Nun’s Island you can see the state of the elevated portion of the freeway. There you can see chunks of concrete missing, exposed (and rusted) rebar and numerous cracks. I know that this particular stretch is scheduled for a makeover, but after what happened in Laval, I must say that whole structure leaves me a little nervous. I keep imagining the bus I’m on crashing down or even worse, crashing into the river! When it’s standing room only, I’m especially anxious. I suppose with time, this event (and my subsequent paranoia) will fade into memory, but for now, riding around town is just a little bit more nerve wracking.
