Breast Cancer Action Montreal

I came across an interesting organization over the weekend. Breast Cancer Action Montreal is a non-profit organization with a different take on the issue.

Self-described as being ’skeptical of the Pink Ribbon campaign’ and ‘attibuting a large number of breast cancer cases to enviormental and occupational hazards’ - this organization is focused on prevention and determining the reasons why there is a rise in this disease.

    Howdy!

BCAM is a great organization! I’ve hosted a fundraiser for them here, and anytime someone asks me for money or time for ‘the pink ribbon’ thing, I give them a BCAM flyer that I have here at teh gallery.

Their website was so interesting and raised many points that mass media don’t cover on such a vital issue.

For more information, do check their Blog http://conscious-personal-care.blogspot.com/

    A) Thanks for the ad!
    B) Thanks even more for the link to their blog - My mom would be horrified to know that she is on it, but I adore the fact that she is there!
