yeah, I oughta do that alright. I don’t even open the darn things, they go straight into my recycling box.

and at the same time, I could get my recycling box replaced — it’s cracked on one end, like it landed on the sidewalk after being roughly tossed by the recycling truck dude.

Ladyjaye, get yourself one of ‘dem “no publi-sac” stickers from Accès Montréal. It has to be one from the city or you’ll continue to get junk.

Once you get the sticker and put it on your mailbox, voila, no more publi-crap.

Recycling day… in my area (Mercier), it’s on Wednesday morning… which means that I keep on forgetting it. Sometimes I end up taking out my recycling box after 2 or 3 weeks. :P

And what’s the main thing to populate my box? Stupid publi-sacs.

I actually had this same predicament and I called my local Accès Montréal office. They said to bring in the broken box and they would replace it with a new one and recycle the old one. Problem solved!

What I want to know is…when you’re recycling box is broken and replaced with a new one…who is supposed to take the broken recycling box…the garbage people or the recycling people
