Careful what you pray for

Well. That’s interesting. A man was taken off a flight leaving Montreal because he was praying while rocking back and forth and he didn’t speak English or French.

I realize that we live in a different world and everyone is a little extra tense between the foiled London terrorist plot and the fact that 9/11 is just around the corner. But I don’t know about this. It’s one thing to take away our shampoo and our hair gels and to make us dehydrate ourselves by refusing to allow us to bring bottled water on flights. It’s another to decide that someone is a clear threat because they’re praying.

I’m not much of a praying type myself (I’m more the cursing type, to be honest), but I just feel like there’s something incredibly offensive to not allow someone to pray to their god. What do you think?
