Le temple de la pomme

Picture%201.pngIt official, the Montreal Apple Store will open its doors this Saturday at 9 AM in Carrefour Laval. The first 1000 visitors will get a free T-shirt to show to their great grandchildrens 50 years from now.

Yes I am an unabashed Mac zealot. Deal with it.

I just hope I can make it since I am currently writing a big research grant application and the past weekend has not been very productive. Nevertheless it’s a good enough excuse to try to break through my writer’s block.

Kudos to Apple for creating the only valid reason for any Montrealer to end up in the big dump that the city of Laval is.

When can we expect an Apple Store in a “real” location, ie. Montreal proper?

damn, I missed it. I would have loved to have gotten one of those t-shirts. Oh well. Since the Laval metro doesn’t run yet, it would have been a pain to get there anyways.
