Back to school soon
Last week, many elementary and high school kids went back to school. Streets, buses, metros, all filled up with students and their backpacks.
I lost my Carte Privilege (the card that allows students under 25 to benefit from the reduced price for public transportation), so I had to get a new card. I would have had to get a new one anyway since the old one was going to expire in about a month or two. By the wat, I still don’t understand the use of paying for that thing aside from STM taking as much money as they can.
I also had to renew my student ID card which expires every two years.
Most students in university are going back to school this Tuesday. Apparently, the big send off before that day is rain and clouds. I wouldn’t be surprised if the metro stops working Tuesday morning, or worse, it could stop working in the afternoon while I am on my way to my first class.
Aside from that, I couldn’t be more thrilled to be in school again. It’s going to be my last year. It feels like just yesterday I started my first year. At the same time, it feels like I have been there forever and it’s never going to end.
