Outside of downtown, the best Vietnamese restaurant has got to be Pho Tay Ho, at 6414, rue Saint-Denis (near Beaubien) -- on the same street side as the Couche-Tard/Dunkin' Donuts. Their tonkinese soup is amazing, and you can order to eat there or bring it home -- well worth the travel. In fact, why bother with chicken-noodle soup bought at the store when you have a cold, when you can bring home their tonkinese soup, reheat it at home and simply enjoy it?

Downtown, I still miss Hao Hoa (which was on Bleury, right next door to the Impérial) and Dalat, which was at the corner of Bleury and Président-Kennedy.

Pho Bang New York is on Saint-Laurent in Chinatown. In this post, I only wanted to mention those close to UQAM on Sainte-Catherine since I have been going there quite often in the last year.

I don't recall anything underneath Les Foufounes except... Les Foufounes, but Ong Ca Can is right next to it.

Howdy!

What about Pho Bang New York? Especially since it moved... have you been?

And what is the name of the one right underneath Foufounes?
