Enough with the storms, already!
Apparently, last night’s storm was not only violent, but deadly. This makes me feel just slightly less embarrassed about spending the evening cowering in the dark.
At three o’ clock in the morning, it is still 36 degrees with the humidex. Predictably, sleep eludes.

The storm made quite a mess in the yard.
We lost power at about 8 PM last night and its didn’t come back by the time I left for work. The most annoying was that traffic light on Gouin that was stuck on red. Most of the drivers had figured this out and were treating it as if it was blinking but there was always the occasional clueless idiot…
Has anyone taken pictures of the lightning storm… It would be great to post them.
I was too scared to move an inch out of my room. haha. I called my folks on the west shore and they lost power just about at that time. Scary. I’m telling you.
It was an odd storm…at least where I was the rain didn’t really start falling until the storm was well overhead. I sat on my balcony and watched the lightening. It was strange to feel the instinct of wanting to “duck” everytime I saw lightening, and yet of course I knew that if that lightening had hit me it would be too late and ducking wouldn’t have done a damn thing. There are alot of tall things around me but you never can predict that stuff…
A really beautiful storm, but unfortunately I’m no where near the talent of Andre.
