Apparently they’re going to start cracking down on the old “rolling billboards” – the skiny trucks that are essentially an advertisement dragged around the streets. I found this out via CJAD.
I’ve never given them much thought beyond the fact that the ones I’ve seen are obnoxiously bright. What are your thoughts?

I just had one in front of me on St. Denis that moved. It had a triangular set of three billboards on it, and turned around its vertical axis. Very annoying because it was very distracting. And because it’s triangular it seemed to sway left and right which made it even more distracting, ’cause every-time you think the truck starts to evade a double parked car (this is St. Denis).
Not to mention that half the time they seem to be for dance clubs or lingerie.
