Coudn’t get your Metroblogging fix this morning? According to Sean (grand poobah of all things metroblogging), we were a victim of our own success:

Apologies for the unexpected downtime this morning. It seems our traffic is growing faster than our hardware and things got a bit backed up this morning causing an outage across the network. Luckily we weren’t caught up in the Indian Blog Ban as some people immediately assumed. As far as problems go, growing faster than you’d expected to is a good problem to have and we’re presently upgrading the hardware to meet the new needs. Things might be spotty over the next few days as we add more resources, but rest assured any lag is temporary and things will be much more robust in the coming days.
