Today was an eventful day… Canada Day, Jazz Fest, moving day, soccer games, etc. I stayed at home most of the day except for a tiny walk in the neighbourhood just before dinner. I felt lazy. I liked observing the people moving in or out… It’s fun. And it seems sofas bring a lot of drama to people who are moving…

New people in my apartment block had trouble fitting theirs through the doors/stairway. So they went outback and used ropes tied onto the balcony/fire esape to lift it up from the ground to the second floor. It seemed like a very dangerous venture to me! But it worked..! They got the sofa inside!

Later during my walk I saw this lonely discarded couch. The streets are filled with unwanted furniture! I saw a couple going on their bike to see the different furniture piles… The guy had a chair tied onto his bike rack at the back.
