La Ronde opens this weekend

I am sure some kids have been going nuts lately about La Ronde opening this weekend and me, as usual, their website always gives me something to complain about.

Back when I worked there, the employee’s control panel looked so bad. There are things in the world that look bad but at least, they work. In La Ronde’s case, the control panel was so slow and misleading. The website itself is very slow right now. It’s a good thing their main business doesn’t revolve around it.

The new ride this year is Goliath. It’s a very very very long roller coaster that travels for about 3 minutes from one side of the park to the other. There is going to be one hell of a line up when those gates are going to open in a few hours.

It’s too bad there’s a 80% chance of precipitation on opening day. So many idiots are going to expect all rides to be opened. As an old employee, I can say that there are a lot of those idiots. Employee and clients are going to be so pissed at each other.

Ah yes, the usual irate customers.

Right now I’m working at Galaxyland. That’s like La Ronde, except inside, in English :), and so far away from my beloved MontrĂ©al T_T

It’s unbelievable how many people try to argue with the ride operators over the silliest things. Heh, they try to get their babies on the roller coasters… and you guys have to have ride closures too for the weather :S

In other words, nice to hear that you don’t work at La Ronde anymore. Hate to know what would’ve happened if you stayed…

Trust me I had fun with customers. The most fun is when it’s time to close, so I used to close my ride and chase people away telling them to get the hell out of there because I wasn’t paid to stay longer.
I also went on the rides when there were very few customers.
Employee are suppose to tell supervisors when we need to go the toilet so that someone can replace us, but my friend kept going anyway without telling.
There is a ride in which people lose pocket money while riding… huh… maybe I should use metblogs to warn everybody about this. It really doesn’t bother me since I don’t work there anymore.
