Strong Old People

I saw this little old woman in the metro today during rush hour. Ususally, I see them and they look weak like they would collapse at any moment, but this one was different. She was holding her newspaper using both her hands and standing in perfect balance while the subway wagon did it’s usual crazy moves. It was great. I always knew that age never has anything to do with anything.

It hasnt hit her yet. My grand-ma was the same and is still in perfect health. But one day, almost out of the blue, it hit her, she became weaker, slower and older. Her vitality just abandonned her.

My riding coach used to tell me that a horse has a predetermined number of jumps in him, then one day he can jump no more. And it’s true, one day the horse just wont jump anymore.

A big part of your health is in your head.
