Do you live in an apartment building? I do! Here’s my living room… Notice the painted walls?
Have you had to deal with your landlord/building owner? I just did and I’m so angry! It’s not a huge issue (painted walls) but still why do they always try and get their way? It’s so annoying. We pay them a lot for rent monthly. They could be nice to us… But no! Much more fun to not be eh?

Geez. I had to paint my canary yellow kitchen and my violent green living room when I moved into my appartment. Your lanlord is just a whinny little bitch (Pardon my french)
Sounds like moving is a good decision. No good can come from dealing with somebody like that.
Any lease I’ve ever signed here in upstate New York has pretty much said white to white. The apartment will be white when you move in and must be white when you move out. What colors you want while you live there is your business.
I agree with JELIEL³. Whinny little bitch indeed. Sounds like they’ve never read their own rules. And I bet they do have painted walls! And why is color such a big deal anyway? Renters are people, too! Don’t we deserve painted walls?!?
