I can’t believe I did that
Sometimes something happens that you’ve just got to mention to someone else. I spotted gas at 97.4 cents per litre this morning so went to fill up since it’s Thursday today and they often seem to go for the Thursday bounce, i.e. add 10 cents per litre during the day.
What shocked me was that when I went in to pay, I said to the cashier, “That’s great to see that price, I wasn’t expecting to see such a price this morning.” Think about that. “That’s great ..” It seems only a few months ago that I was upset when it rose above 60 cents per litre. Now when it’s below a dollar, I’m saying it’s great. How we and the world change
