Delirium wasn’t what I expected. It was visually stunning in places but much too long and repetitious. I agree that the choreography was boring and I expected more acrobatics. Overall it was a highpriced disappointment. And it doesn’t need an opening act followed by a 20 minute intermission.

I just saw the show last night in Buffalo and was VERY disappointed. I’ve seen the circ du soleil shows before and sat in awe the entire time. I was bored and anxious for it to end. Also I brought 2 other people with me who’d never seen a circ du soleil show before and were a little hesitant on the price of a seat, but I assured them that they would absolutely LOVE it. Boy was I wrong. I guess I should’ve researched the show first rather then assuming that because it was a circ du soleil it would be phenomenal. I was not expecting a concert.

I agree, the opening act sucked.

But for the show itself I liked it! The Cirque just didn’t advertise enough that this wasn’t a circus show as usual but more a musical experience, and that might be why you were dissapointed Heather?

And I was in a 120$ section also, R-101-E-7.

I don’t know where this commentator was but from my seat, the show was awful. Four circus acts and a bunch of singers in ridiculous costumes with some of the most unimaginative choreography I have seen in a show that should have been so good. And the starting act – she had a voice but not much else to commend her. Did she buy her dress at Le Chateau?

No-one around me was clapping except in the rare circus acts and apart from being intensely disappointed, I was quite simply bored. What a waste of $120.
