Save Montreal gives more oranges than lemons
It’s good to see in the Montreal Gazette this morning that the ‘heritage watchdog’, Save Montreal, sees more to praise than to blame. In a beautiful city like Montreal, it’s important to keep enhancing rather than just letting things slide.
The most visible landmark building to get an orange is just that, more visible. The St. James United Church on Ste. Catherine Street West has now reappeared after a temporary strip mall erected in the 1930’s has been removed.
