STM’s Christmas gift
I wonder what’s so new about transportation prices rising again. Every year, prices rise and nobody is happy about it. Apparently, it’s new enough for a headline about it to appear in the newspaper. At least, it’s not on the front page.
Months ago, the STM exposed three prototypes for new wagon arrangements for people to test. For a few weeks now, they made public the winner of the three on the blue and orange lines (i don’t know about the other lines). The adjusments allows more people in one wagon and less people to sit, but peresonally, I really don’t mind that.
I’ve learnt that the L-shaped arrangement of the seats allows people to get in and out more quickly, but I do believe if all seats were aligned along the sides, a wagon would be able to contain more people.

Sitting is important to me!!!
Plus I hate sitting all along the metro carriage… Then you’re facing people on the other side. And you’ve got no where to look. And you’re riding sideways! That’s so annoying.
I want to keep the existing configuration. As well as the existing prices! Geez… Everytime a little price hike and soon the student CAM will be the same price as the adult CAM…
