I was boarding my flight back to Montreal from Miami last night when I see a line of police cars and emergency vehicles racing along the tarmack over to a nearby gate just out of view. We board the plane, get pushed away from the gate, and make our way for takeoff. Through the windows on the opposite side I can see all the police cars and emergency vehicles surrounding the plane. So as we were taking off I took this picture.

You can see our wing tip in the top left corner. So I get to work today and my boss asks if my flight back was delayed. I asked why and he said some guy was shot because he said he had a bomb. This is getting a bit unsettling because this is not the first, second, or third time that I have been close to bombs going off.
