It’s icing.

You know it’s cold when people don’t stop saying it. It seems I always wear the same types of clothes between -5oC and 20oC. When asked how I do it, I don’t know what to answer, so I say that I embrace nature my own way. When I really think about it, it has to do with the fact that I’m outdoors no more than 30 minutes every day. That is the sum of the time it takes to go to any kind of transportation and the time it takes to go to some restaurant when I go out.

I often find myself in places that are accessible underground like school. Everything, or at least most places, in Downtown Montreal can be accessible through tunnels. That is a great thing about this city. The only problem is that people seem to be overdressed in subways and then they complain about how hot it is (not that it’s cool at Berri-UQAM during summer). That bad part is only about the subway. Other than that, with the underground city, it’s great to move from one place to another without freezing outside during winter or burning during summer.

Now, on the title’s topic :P At 12:40 today, I had to go outside to go to a restaurant. An hour later, we got back out and it was raining. When we got back to school, we realized it wasn’t rain, it’s was ice. Drops of ice falling from the sky. Interesting. It didn’t last very long. They really sounded like rocks hitting cars.

It’s a good thing they were small. Big ones hurt.
