This is horrendous. It’s now 10:30 am Sunday morning. Deaths in Pakistan alone are now said to be between 20,000 and 30,000. It’s the biggest earthquake in the region for a hundred years. This region receives a large number of earthquakes, so that makes it all the more shattering.
