More tidbits on political signage
Yesterday, I was bemoaning Vision Montreal for its lack of publicity in the West Island as it was giving the wrong impression. Maybe the powers that want to be are reading this blog since I woke up to see my neighborhood covered with VM signs. They are not finished yet, I drove my daughter to Lachine and the only signs down there were from Go Montreal. Just in case you feel like placating me again, I’ll be picking her up at 3 PM.
I also noticed a lot of signs on Sources Boulevard even though 95% of it length lies in Boroughs that voted for the demerger.

And in Hampstead on Queen Mary it’s all about Kessner. Don’t know who he is or what party or anything… But EVERY stop sign pole has a huge Kessner sign. It’s TOO much.
Keep in mind that most HAMPSTEAD candidates for councillor DO NOT EVEN run against each other (SEE BELOW).
For example, for SEATS #1 & #2, both candidates will win their respective seat AUTOMATICALLY as no one else is even competing for their seat. As ridiculous as this sounds, this is the way the system is set up. Perhaps due to a lack of interested individual involvement by other residents. For seats #’d 3, 4, 5 & 6, each have only 2 candidates running against one another. I am posting this now ONLY pertaining to SEAT #5 which I believe will best be served by BONNIE FEIGENBAUM due to her YEARS of experience, dedication, commitment and decency. Bonnie’s watchful eye over our Town’s affairs would greatly improve the quality of our Hampstead municipal government and aid in the efficiency of our 6 councillors’ decision and voting process.
