Renewing at the BNQ

At the municipal library, you are not allowed to renew documents more than once and you can’t renew new releases at all.

Before the BNQ opened, I was one of the lucky people that received their library card through the mail. That saves a lot of time waiting in the line up to get a membership. Even now, over three months after the grand openning, the line up to register is still huge.

My friend who didn’t receive his card, decided not to get it… yet. Instead he is using mine. Today is the due date of the book he took on my card and I already renewed it for him once. I was about to tell him to return it, but I took a shot at renewing a second time. To my delight, I just learnt that it is possible.

This little feature will definitely come in handy to get school textbooks that I am not accustomed to buy.
