Simulating Armageddon

nuke.jpgThat was bound to happen, some enterprising soul has modified Google Map to estimate the area of damage that would result from a nuclear detonation. Check it out.

And, of course, this has allowed an equally-disturbed individual to determine that his house, place of work and children’s school are outside of the blast radius should a 100 kiloton nuke ever blow up the downtown core. I’d need the Russians to use a 20 megaton city-buster for that.

I feel so much better now.
