Well what do you know? It was raining.
It’s fun to see how people freak out when it rains. I was on my bike while the sun was out and there were a whole lot of people outside, then the rain came for 30 minutes and the streets were empty. It’s just water. I was there soaking wet. The few people who stayed outside under the rain were either soaked like me or they looked like this woman on this photo with a plastic bag on their head.

I also went out just as the HEAVY rain started. It was awesome! I was well equipped, umbrella and rain coat but nonetheless my shoes/pants were soaked after 1 minute outside. I love it when it rains because like you said it’s so quiet. Even the supermarket was almost deserted. Perfect time to do grocery shopping is in a thunderstorm.
