Zeke, that’s just a great observation. It’s always amusing to spot the many absurdities in everyday life. Still it’s great to see a celebration like this taking place, wherever it’s happening. After all, I gather there’s been a major thoroughfare along the line of St-Laurent since 1730. Wow.

If it has been a major thoroughfare since 1730, then shouldn’t we be celebrating the 275th anniversary?
In 1905, St Laurent became the official East-West divider for the city.
