Time has changed.
I usually don’t worry about having to change the time on any clock for the DST except for my watch, because I only have network connectable devices (i.e.: computers). A year ago, I had an old 2nd generation (2G) cell phone, so I didn’t expect it to change time on its own. It was a Sony Ericsson T200. This year, I’m moving around with a Motorola V551, a 2.5G. There was absolutely no flaw since I bought it last fall. It’s doing everything I want and even more. You should know that all I want is to talk, that’s what phones are for. It has a built-in camera, it can record videos, it can connect to the internet, it can tell me what song I’m listening to, it can connect to my computer, it’s bluetooth enabled and all kinds of other crap that isn’t really required for a phone. Those features all work, except one: the time autoupdate feature! It’s such a small but important function. That thing is suppose to sync with the network and it didn’t. Either that or the network, Rogers, forgot to change time.
Sounds like I am making a very big deal out of this, but I didn’t have any other topic in mind. I could talk about the pope, but that’s pretty much covered everywhere.
Oh by the by, it seems that the students’ strike is going to come to an end soon. Well, at least for about 50 000 students. The problem is that there are way over 100 000 currently still on strike.
