Local bloggers have been all over the “old media” lately. It all started when Kate (a.k.a. la bloggeuse) was interviewed on CBC Radio. This was followed by an appearance by Blork on CBC television. Fortunately, Martine was there to tell him to stand straight and to document the seedier sides of fame (yes, he was wearing pants).

Things moved on to the 5th anniversary of the YULBLOG meetings that was also attended by at least one journalist and a pair of press photographers (wireless flashes as so cool). When Ed showed up with camera crew in tow, pandemonium ensued as bloggers stepped over themselves to say hi to their mom on television (ok maybe that was just me). Don’t miss all of the spilled beers, drowned cigarettes and gory details on tonight’s CBC local new report.

…and now I just noticed that satellite trucks are blocking my driveway. How long can this last before deep and dark secrets are revealed and this all turns into a huge scandal.
